Welcome to Dewees Island, a private residential barrier island.  You are a guest of the Dewees Island Property Owners Association and therefore we ask that you adhere to the Dewees Islanders Constitution to protect maintain our pristine environment. 

We suggest all newcomers to the Island visit our Nature Center located at the Landings Building.  Our Interns-in-Residence and Director of Environmental Educaton will be glad to share their knowledge about the Island with you.  The door is always open for visitors. From the time you arrive on the Island, you and your guests are given the responsibility of complying with regulations followed by all property owners.  Please acquaint yourself and your guests with these rules.
